Match Report
Ampthill 5th’s faced Olney 3rd’s on a windy day at Dillingham Park. If the wind wasn’t bad enough by the clubhouse by the time we got up to pitch four it was something similar to standing atop Everest.
With 23 players for our first home game thanks have to go to Olney for letting us use all the subs. At the end of the day the 5th’s is all about getting everyone a game.

It was a bit of a one sided game on the pitch and in fairness the score could have been more.

The Ref told me after it was 45-0, however I have tries from Danny Breeze, Darren Breeze, Mark Satterwaithe, two for Simon Philby, a first senior try for Joe Wilkinson, Jack Wilkinson and Rich Falberg plus 5 conversions so it must have been 50 but hey what’s five points between friends?
