Twinwood Festival 2018
Since 2002 the Glenn Miller Festival had grown, and in 2007 the name was changed to "Twinwood Festival" in order that a slightly wider genre of music could be performed at the festival, and it is now one of the largest vintage music festivals in Europe. Many well known swing, jazz, and jive bands and orchestras from the UK and Europe have performed at the festival.

Friday
Friday evening is a special night for people that have already purchased a ticket for another day. The entertainment starts in the main arena at 5pm until the lack of light stops play at around 9pm. By then the DJ's will have the indoor scene really moving with no less than 4 separate events running until the early hours of 1am!!

Saturday
The festival starts to move into full swing on Saturday with the entertainment starting at 11am. Light stops play around 10pm on the main arena but once again the entertainment shifts indoors and carries on through until 1am for the hardcore party goers!

Sunday
An earlier start to the day at 10:30am sees a new act for the festival as things kick off in the main arena with the Twinwood Philharmonic Orchestra adding a classical note to soothe the late night revellers from Saturday night as they start the day all over again. The Bootleg Beatles wind things up in the main arena at 8:45pm closing the main arena down at around 10:15pm. Once again all 5 indoor venues will be catering for the late night party animals until 1am.

Monday
The closing of the festival is always a sad moment but there is still a full day of entertainment to keep everyone busy. The days starts with dance lessons for all abilities. The pace soon picks up in the main arena at midday and continuing on until around 8:45pm when the Overtures close things down. For the hardcore party goers though there is entertainment inside until 11pm with a choice of Strollin' Steve or the Rugcutters.
