Thursday sees both Real Bedford and Elstow Abbey head to The Eyrie in Bedford for the final of the Bedfordshire FA County Cup (Senior Trophy). This match was originally postponed due to the inclement weather earlier in the season so has been anticipated for some time now. Both teams played their last cup matches in mid-February, since when both teams have won their respective divisions.
The final will be played on a neutral ground under floodlights giving no team a theoretical advantage. With both teams well supported, the turn out for this final should be good. Both teams are buoyed up by recent success in their respective leagues and looking to complete 'The Double' of league and cup this season.
